I've got a big problem. One of the kids got ahold of a copy of Photoshop and played around with a dozen of my favorite classic movie posters. Now they're so distorted that it's hard to tell which ones they are. But you can probably figure it out, and here's your chance. Below you'll find a group of thumbnail photos of the 12 posters. If you click on a poster, you'll be taken to a page with a full size view. Can you tell which one it is? On the page where you find the full size poster, you'll also find a link to a page that will give you a hint, either by the subject of the page or by something on the page. If you use the hint, hit the back button to return to the full size poster, then click on "Return to Quiz" to come back to this page.
When you think you know an answer, click on the poster number (ie., "Poster #1") and type the movie name into the appropriate box. Then click on "Return to Quiz" and continue until you've typed in a name for every poster, being sure to spell and capitalize the names correctly. (Capitalize all words except "of," "on," "a," and "the," unless they appear at the beginning of the title.) Then click on "Get score" to see how well you did. You'll get a percentage of your correct answers, plus a list of all the correct answers. Don't peek at that, though. Hit the "Clear" button and try again until your percentage is as high as you'd like. (100% is all I'd settle for if I were you.) Finally, when you're completely finished with the quiz, click on the link at the bottom of the page to see all the posters in their original condition. All are well-known, award-winning films from the 30s-70s, with well-known poster images. You might even recognize some right away from the thumbnails. Or maybe not. (This is not a contest, by the way, just a self-scoring quiz. Don't send me the answers. Honest, it's just for fun.)
