Our Forum is fast, easy, and open to anybody who has something to say or ask about classic movies. You'll find a regular group of posters who seem to have no lack of interesting questions and topics to offer. All you have to do is register. Or you can sign on as a "Guest" if all you want to do is read the posts. In any case, the Forum is a way to get your message in front of hundreds of people every day. If this encourages you to use this medium to sell something, please note that commercial messages are prohibited. They'll be quickly removed, and the person who posts them may be banned from the boards. This policy will be waved in the case of individual collectible items from private owners, classic film festivals, or other items of real interest to those who visit the Forum. If in doubt, email me and ask. The rest of you, please feel free to join in the fun. But before you post a message asking where you can buy that video you haven't been able to locate at the local Blockbuster, check this out...
Finding a Film on Video
A large percentage of the questions we receive have to do with finding a particular movie on video. In order to answer these questions, we have set up a brand new service called Your Movie Finder. There's a small fee involved, but so far since we began this service, we're having no problem finding sources for films. Of course, we're talking about movies that are out-of-proint. So if you're interested in buying a movie that's out on VHS or DVD, start with our own Classic Movies A-Z List or our Classic Movies Videostore.
Is It Really Any Good?
The Reviews category of our Net Links list includes review archives from people like Roger Ebert and Mr. Cranky, as well as people you've never heard of before but who have very strong opinions about things. If you're looking for multiple opinions (lots and lots of them), may we recommend The Movie Review Query Engine, which will hand you a selection of reviews from a variety of sources. You're sure to find somebody who has the opinion you're searching for!
All right, now you know almost as much as I do about how to find classic movies information. So get out there and dig, and don't come back without something great!
