This is an alphabetical A-Z list of some of the most popular films from the late 1920s through the early 1990s and beyond in a few cases, with links that will take you to either Movies Unlimited, Amazon.com, or Free Movies on DVD.

There are presently over 2,000 films on this list, plus collections, and we continue to add new ones (almost entirely DVDs, since releases on VHS are becoming extremely rare) as time goes on. The list was updated in January 2009 to replace movies no longer available on VHS with DVD versions and to add more new titles, and is now in the process of being updated in May 2009 to add hundreds more out-of-print films available on DVD-R. The list is by no means complete, so if you do not see the film you want, please click on any random film title, and when you arrive at the supplier, type the name of the film in the search box. If you still don't find the film there, as unlikely as that may be, please check out my extensive list of online video/DVD sources.

Instructions: This list is separated into eighteen alphabetical sections to speed up page loading. Please click on the link that includes the first letter of the film title you are looking for (not including "A," "An," or "The") to be taken to the appropriate alphabetical section. Films are VHS unless otherwise noted. Please feel free to write and suggest a film that you feel should be added, but be sure to specify that you're referring to the A-Z list. If you're taken to Movies Unlimited or Amazon and see a note that says the film is unavailable, look on the right for links to purchase the film used. If you are taken to our Free Movies on DVD site, look for the title at the top, or if you see "New - No Descriptions Yet," look for the movie alphabetically in the list you'll find below. If you are taken to the WB Shops, it means that the movie is on the list of films released on DVD by Warner Brothers. You will need to search for it on their site, since we can't link directly to any titles. Please report any bad links to us. We try to keep this list updated, but with dozens of changes taking place every week, it's a constant challenge!
