Karl Malden Dead at 97
Beloved supporting actor Karl Malden has died at the age of 97. An Oscar-winner for A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), he was also nominated for his supporting role as the priest in On the Waterfront (1954) and appeared in 70 films and TV shows during a career stretching back to the 1940s (and before that on Broadway). He was best known to modern audiences as a spokesman for American Express, and for his role in Streets of San Francisco with Michael Douglas.

Gale Storm Dies at 87
Actress Gale Storm, best known for starring in two popular 1950s TV comedies, My Little Margie and The Gale Storm Show, has died at the age of 87. She was exceeded in popularity at the time only by Lucille Ball. She appeared in dozens of movies beginning in 1940 before switching to TV. She was also a recording artist with a number of popular hit songs.

A Tribute to Susan Hayward
Susan Hayward was born in poverty, received her first Oscar nomination after 10 years as an actress, got four more before finally winning one, then died of cancer at the age of 58. She fought every step of the way, and gave us many memorable performances.
