Greatest Movies
Compares the top 100 lists of the American and British Film Institutes with the choices of critics Roger Ebert and Barry Norman. Unverse is not sure what the greatest movie ever made is, but there's a good chance it's on one of these lists.
The Movie Times
While focused primarily on current box office statistics, this site also contains a couple of lists of immediate interest to classic fans, including the top 20 actors and actresses, and the top 100 movies of all time, by box office.
National Film Registry
Under the terms of the National Film Preservation Act, each year the Librarian of Congress names 25 "culturally, historically or aesthetically" significant motion pictures to the Registry. Check out the list for the latest year.

The Classic Movies section of a site that lets you vote on just about everything. You can even change parameters to see what only men or only women thought, or people in various age groups. Lots of fun.
The Sammy Awards
Each year since 1989, Roger Hall, a respected film music historian and music preservationist chooses the winners of these film music awards, named after multiple-Oscar-winning movie lyricist Sammy Cahn (1913-1993). They were first announced on Ron Della Chiesa’s show on WGBH radio in Boston, later in newspapers, magazines and Web sites. Hall is the author of the reference book, A Guide to Film Music, and the editor and publisher of the Web e-zine Film Music Review.
Top Ten Lists
Emmett of The Unblinking Eye has been putting together top ten movie lists in various categories, from the usual (baseball movies, Disney movies) to the unusual (contractor movies, graduation movies). May not have been updated lately, and the "Help Me" link isn't working, but it's still fun to read.
Top 100 Movie Lists
Aaron Caldwell's site includes his and his brother Mark's lists of favorite films, as well as links to almost three dozen other favorite film lists, from AFI and BBC to TV Guide and the Video Detective. You can submit your own list, as well.
