Budd BoetticherThe Films Of Budd Boetticher - Saddle up for five ace westerns from director Budd Boetticher! "The Tall T" (1957) offers a psychological study with Randolph Scott as a rancher taken captive with a newlywed couple by a gang of outlaws. Richard Boone, Maureen O'Sullivan co-star; based on Elmore Leonard's story. Next, gunman Scott takes over a small town and sets out to kill one of its residents. What's his target's crime? Find out, in "Decision at Sundown" (1957). With John Caroll, Karen Steele. Texas drifter Tom Buchanan (Scott) arrives in a California border town and into the midst of a violent family feud. Each side tries to exploit him, but Scott makes it clear that "Buchanan Rides Alone" (1958). Craig Stevens, Tol Avery co-star. Bounty hunter Scott sets out with a young widow and two reformed outlaws to capture a wanted killer, but none know Scott's real motive. "Ride Lonesome" (1959) co-stars James Best, Lee Van Cleef. After spending 10 years searching for his kidnapped wife, Scott rescues a settler's wife who's been captured by the Indians...but they're not out of danger yet! "Comanche Station" (1960) co-stars Claude Akins, Nancy Gates. 6 1/4 hrs. total on five discs. Soundtrack: English; documentary.

Gregory Peck The Gregory Peck Film Collection - "The World in His Arms" (1952) stars Gregory Peck as a seal hunter enlisted by Russian countess Ann Blyth to take her to Alaska so she can evade marrying a Russian diplomat. When Blyth is kidnapped, Peck and rival Anthony Quinn race to save her. Sig Rumann, John McIntire co-star. Peck portrays WWII military psychiatrist "Captain Newman, M.D." (1963) in this acclaimed comedy-drama, administering help to the battle fatigued. With Tony Curtis, Angie Dickinson, and Robert Duvall. Peck is an amnesia victim whose attempts to discover his identity may also turn up a murder plot, in the gripping "Mirage" (1965). With Diane Baker, Walter Matthau. In director Stanley Donen's James-Bondian thriller "Arabesque" (1966), Peck plays a language professor hired to decipher a secret code, scrambling to outwit hired gunmen and save the life of an Arab prime minister. Sophia Loren, George Coulouris co-star. Seven-disc set also includes the Special Edition of "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Cape Fear" (1962). 10 3/4 hrs. total. Holiday DVDsClassic Holiday DVD Collection, Vol. 2 - This four-disc set includes a quartet of classic Hollywood films, none of which have ever been available on DVD before. The biggest surprise in the box: "It Happened on 5th Avenue" (1947). Victor Moore plays a New York City hobo who moves into the vacant mansion of vacationing millionaire Charlie Ruggles for the winter. Moore then plays Cupid for ex-G.I. Don DeFore and runaway Gale Storm - who, unknown to him, is Ruggles' daughter. Co-starring Ann Harding, Alan Hale, Jr.The true drama "Blossoms in the Dust" (1941) stars Greer Garson as Edna Gladney, who founded an orphanage and worked for children's aid in early 20th-century Texas. With Walter Pidgeon, Fay Holden. Widowed mom Janet Leigh's attempt to buy the train set her son wants for Christmas brings her to meet store clerk Robert Mitchum, who gets close to Leigh and her son after losing his job. "Holiday Affair" (1949) co-stars Wendell Corey, Henry Morgan. In the 1850s, a young couple emigrates from Scotland to Wisconsin, enjoying a prosperous existence until a heartbreaking tragedy forces their 12-year-old son to take command of the family's destiny, in "All Mine to Give" (1957). Glynis Johns, Cameron Mitchell, Ellen Corby star. Soundtrack: English. (Available on November 11.)

Warner BrosWarner Bros. And The Homefront Collection - First, Warner Bros.' contribution to the war effort was "Thank Your Lucky Stars" (1943), a songfest chronicling the mishaps of Eddie Cantor and a look-alike cab driver. Among the studio's star players who are on hand are Humphrey Bogart, Joan Leslie, Olivia de Havilland, John Garfield, Bette Davis singing "They're Either Too Young or Too Old," and Errol Flynn singing "That's What You Jolly Well Get." Next, Ronald Reagan, Leslie, and a cast of thousands star in "This Is the Army" (1943), Irving Berlin's morale-booster tribute to the Armed Forces during WWII, and a memorable entertainment of song and dance. Kate Smith sings her heart out with "God Bless America." And, "Hollywood Canteen" (1944) is a star-studded follow-up to "Stage Door Canteen," filled with Hollywood favorites, patriotic spirit and classic songs. The plot involves soldiers Dane Clark and Robert Hutton catching entertainment at the famed Canteen before being shipped to New Guinea, and Hutton meeting dream girl Leslie. With The Andrews Sisters, Jack Benny, Joan Crawford, Davis, Cantor, and many more. Three-disc set. (Available on November 11.)
